MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Vernon is to make disciples for Jesus Christ while respecting all religious faiths and defending religious freedom for all people . We will open our doors for Christians living through worship, the sacraments and service to God and community. We will be people helping other people through Christ centered caregiving.
