Welcome to FUMC Mount Vernon’s website. I hope you find it easy to navigate. There are several ministries and programs which you may find helpful and refreshing. God is truly alive and active in this congregation. May you sample some of this activity by spending some time on this website.

There are two opportunities of worship celebration on Sunday morning at 8:30 and 11:00. 

There are Sunday morning adult classes, along with youth and children’s classes at 9:45 a.m. Childcare provides ministry the youngest children.

When you come to visit you can expect to find folk who are trying to live the Christian life rooted in the story of the Good News of Jesus Christ. It is a story of the grace and love God in Christ Jesus that nurtures, challenges, and encourages people in every stage of life. It is a fellowship that asks and lives life’s questions and seeks answers of the same. The congregation is an ever-growing and changing family of profound faith walking along the path of life in Christ together.
