Good Things Are Happening At Rainbow

 

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

Rainbow offers a preshool program for children 6 weeks to five years of age.  The preschool program incorporates Christian principles with the development of cognitive, social,  physical and emotional development for each age.  Daily activities include story time, learning centers, art activities, music and movement and special theme-based activities.  Each week the children attend chapel time with the FUMC pastor. 

Children learn as they play. The Rainbow program fosters learning by providing new experiences and engaging activities.

Preschool class hours are from 8:00am until noon. Each teacher has an assistant during learning times to lower student/teacher ratio and allow more hands-on assistance. Parents have the option for children to remain at the school for the rest of the day with extended day care hours.

 

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

The after-school program at Rainbow is designed to provide school-aged children with a fun, safe environment after school hours.  The Rainbow bus is available to pick children up at MVISD after school.  Students are served a snack and provided the opportunity to work on homework assignments, play outside on our playground, or participate in fun games and activities.

PART-TIME ENROLLMENT

Part-time enrollment is available with either a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule or Tuesday/Thursday schedule. These options are based on availability.  Preference will be given to full time students.

 

The annual supply fee is $30.00 per child except for the infants.  The fee will provide craft material, paper, paint, etc for each class.
