Congregational Care

Jesus Said, "Love one another....".  Are you interested in helping in areas of congregational care?  If so, please indicate areas you would be willing to serve and return this form to the church office.

HOME VISITS
Our volunteers visit the homebound, nursing home and assisted living persons on at least a once a month basis.

FUNERAL LUNCH TEAM
We have four teams of workers who provide funeral luncheons to the family. 

SUNDAY ALTAR FLOWERS
Volunteers break up our first Sunday  of the month altar flowers, put them in small vases and deliver them to homebound, nursing homes, and hospitals.

EXTENDED TABLE
Volunteers take communion to persons in the nursing homes, assisted living and homebound.

HOSPITAL VISITS
Volunteers sign up to be on call to see people in the local hospitals when Pete and the Stephen Ministers are unavailable.

PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION
Volunteers provide transportation when someone needs a ride to the doctor or hospital. 

NURSING HOME WORSHIP SERVICE
Our church provides a worship service on a rotating basis at our local nursing home and assisted living facilities. The service begins at 2:30pm and lasts about a half hour.
